What’s Going Well?

It’s helpful to think once in a while about the wins you’ve made, even if they’re small.

The other day, at the end of a session, I asked a member how the workout felt. She said she’d gone up in weight on a couple exercises and done one or two more reps on others.

Then she said, “Before I told you that, I didn’t really think I was making progress. But I guess I am.”

It’s easy to think negatively about ourselves. That’s certainly something I struggle with.

But if we take a minute to say out loud, or write down, the things we’re doing well, it can totally shift how we see things.

What’s something you did well today?
