Frequently Asked Questions

  • Personal training is a great way to stay motivated and push through those workouts that you’d rather not do. Also, a personal trainer will make sure you’re using proper technique.

  • Definitely not! Rozzie Fitness specializes in training people who have little to no formal exercise experience. If you don’t have much experience, you might want to start with semi-private training (instead of remote programming) so we can teach you the basics of working out.

  • We are empathetic trainers who will always listen to your needs and meet you where you’re at. We also believe in fostering community. As a member of the Rozzie Fitness Family, you’ll have access to fun client outings and might make some new friends!

  • Of course! If your friend has never been to Rozzie Fitness before, they can attend your workout for free. Please let your coach know in advance so they can plan accordingly.

If your friend has been to Rozzie Fitness but you want to train together, we recommend coming to the same semi-private or group classes.

  • This is not recommended as the consultation is mostly a get-to-know-you session. We will be talking about your fitness goals and what your fitness has been like up to this point. You can do your consultation on zoom from the comfort of your home if you’d like to do that.

  • You are alotted 60 minutes in the studio and approximately 50 of those minutes will be spent with your coach. How you spend the other 10 minutes is up to you, but we recommend arriving 5 minutes before your training session start time to foam roll and staying 5 minutes after your session to use the theragun.

  • Please wear comfortable athletic clothing and bring a pair of clean or indoor only sneakers to change into once you get here.

Also, remember your water bottle :)

  • There is a flight of stairs down into the studio and unfortunately we do not have an elevator. We do, however, provide virtual and in-home training. For details, please reach out to info@rozziefitness.com.

  • There is plenty of free street parking. You can park on Belgrade Ave or any of the side streets (Penfield Street is the closest). Please make sure you do not accidentally park in front of a driveway or in the bus stop in front of the building.

  • To avoid class disruptions, the coach may turn you away from the class if you are five or more minutes late.

  • Please come to the side door of the building. Follow the sidewalk path on the left side of the building. Once you are at the door you can call or text your coach and they will let you in.
