Positivity

There’s a lot to feel bad about these days.

But at Rozzie Fitness, we try to keep things positive when it comes to working out.

Because when you’re kind to yourself, it’s easier to deal with life’s challenges.

One way we encourage positivity is word choice.

Instead of “this is my weaker side,” it’s “this is my less strong side.” Because your body is inherently strong.

Instead of “I can’t do an unassisted pullup,” it’s “I can’t do an unassisted pullup yet.” Because your skillset isn’t static. It’s always improving.

Instead of “I have bad knees,” it’s “my knees are cranky today.” Because there’s nothing morally wrong with your body. It just hurts sometimes.

And instead of “I’m sorry,” it’s not saying anything at all. Because it’s okay to take up space.

These changes might seem small, but over time they can help shift the way you talk to yourself both in the gym and outside of it.

And when you’re even a little kinder to yourself, life feels easier to manage.
